Summer days spent at the beach are perfectly finished with one of two things – ice cream, or cocktails. Here at aromas we are more partial to a late afternoon cocktail while our skin is still sandy and our cheeks are still pink.
Here’s our recommendation of the best when ordered after a day at the beach.
APEROL SPRITZER
This is a classic Italian aperitif you might find yourself drinking in a back street on the Amalfi Coast. With Aperol and Prosecco topped with a dash of soda, half an orange wheel, and served in a long glass over ice.
CLASSIC MOJITO
It is hard to go wrong with this one on a hot summer’s day. Cooling and refreshing, it has white rum, brown sugar, fresh lime, mint, soda water. We finish it off with a sprig of fresh mint from our own Maravista Farm.
COCONUT MARGARITA
Tropical and beachy, this has been popular over summer due to its tasty mix of tequila, Cointreau, and lime juice, and garnished with a salted caramel rim, and roasted coconut crust.
